โ โ โ โ โ "I'd been struggling with menopause symptoms for a while - night sweats, extreme mood swings, bloating and seriously heavy bleeding. None of my usual natural go-to treatments seemed to be working and Drs had told me my only options were to take medication indefinitely or more invasive procedures. Neither of these sat well with me and I was starting to feel pretty hopeless. Then I found Maggie and her Magic Needles! She immediately made me feel comfortable with her down to earth manner and I loved her cos little sanctuary where she carries out treatments. After just one session my night sweats were drastically reduced and I felt much calmer. After 3 more ALL of my symptoms had resolved which is a better result than I could ever have hoped for! However, over time, Maggie has been totally attentive and adjusted my treatments to get the balance exactly right for me and now I'd say I'm a little addicted! I've seen a steady resolution or improvement to quite a few longstanding issues which I thought would be unresolvable. This is an amazing result for me. The studio is such a lovely calming place and with Maggie's brightness, the whole experience has been really lovely and I now look forward to my sessions. โ โ โ โ โ "Just over a year ago I suffered a ruptured disk in my lower back which resulted in chronic sciatic pain down my right leg. I was taking lots of painkillers daily and had gone through several rounds of physiotherapy which didnโt help. Having been dependent on painkillers for the last year I decided to give acupuncture a go as the next option for my recovery was surgery, and I really didn't want to go through that. I've had eight sessions with Maggie, and it's made such a difference! It's the only treatment I've had that has helped with the pain. My back is now healing and I'm no longer dependent on painkillers to get through the day. I'm getting back to my normal active lifestyle and the symptoms of my injury get less and less as the sessions go on. When I was lying on the couch whilst the needles were doing their magic I felt super calm, peaceful and floaty - conscious but asleep? Alive but dead? Hard to describe but felt amazing, the sort of feeling you try and achieve through lots of meditation. Probably also due to her zen studio space, calming music and relaxing aromas. Finished the session with a cupping and gua sha treatment that drew out all of the knots in my upper trapezius which gets really problematic and tight from working at a laptop.
