Hi, I’m Maggie :)
I'm an acupuncturist and traditional Chinese medicine practitioner based in Cardigan, West Wales. I work from my own ambient studio, conveniently located on the high street. I believe in a holistic approach to healthcare and provide a calm and positive space where you can relax, feel listened to and cared for.
My own health was transformed by acupuncture in my late teens and I'm passionate about all the benefits it has to offer.
I trained at the renowned Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa, gaining a Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture (Lic.Ac), a 3 year degree accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board and the Professional Standards Authority. My training covered all aspects of Chinese medicine and acupuncture theory with a focus on the Five Element approach which means I treat the whole person, taking into account all signs of imbalance within the body. I'm also qualified in auricular acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha and cosmetic acupuncture. Upon completing my acupuncture degree I then chose to undertake further training in facials with one of the best holistic skin studios, Re:lax Ldn.
I am open to hosting workshops for retreats and events.
Alongside acupuncture and Chinese medicine, I’m a jeweller, body piercer, and single mum to my 9-year-old son Gruff.
